Why to visit Thennangur Panduranga Temple
Thennangur Panduranga Temple is near Kanchipuram's Thennangur village, in the Tiruvannamalai district. The town is also renowned as Goddess Meenakshi's birthplace. Panduranga and his consort Rukmayee are honoured in the Thennangur Panduranga Temple. Because of its religious significance, distinctive architecture, and divine idols of Lord Panduranga and Rukmayee, it attracts travellers from all over the world.
Swami Haridas Giri installed the temple's main idol, which he had brought with him from Pandharpur some 500 years ago.
