The largest saltwater inland lake in India is Sambhar Lake. A 5.1 km long barrier that separates the lake also aids in the production of salt. Several migrating birds visit the region. As a result, it ranks among the city's most visited tourist attractions. It is oval in shape and is nourished by five rivers: the Medtha, Samaod, Mantha, Rupangarh, Khari, and Khandela.
