Why to visit Man Sagar Lake

Lake Man Sagar (Mansagar) is a man-made lake to the north of Jaipur that is home to the magnificent Jal Mahal Palace. Man Sagar Lake is teeming with migratory birds. People come here to sit for hours and soak in the relaxing beauty and vibe.

The only sources of water are rains from the nearby hills and semi-clean wastewater flow from Jaipur, hence the lake volume changes significantly between the wet and dry seasons. It has recently undergone thorough cleaning, which in my opinion has made it more appealing and teeming with migratory birds.
