The Rock Garden of Chandigarh, which began as a pastime for the inventor Nek Chand Saini in 1957, has now grown into one of the city's most popular tourist attractions. Rock Garden, which spans more than 40 acres of beautifully landscaped and adorned ground, is home to over 5,000 artistic sculptures. What's more incredible is that the entire structure is constructed up of various industrial and urban garbage. The garden is divided into three sections, each with its own set of sculptures. The site is wonderfully fascinating to observe and stroll around in, with light spouts, terra cotta plants, and an unique display of broken home equipment.
