The oldest textile museum in Ahmedabad is the Calico Textile Museum, which is located at the Retreat on Airport Road. This museum was founded by Gautam Sarabhai and his sister Gita Sarabhai, and it was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the former Prime Minister of India.
