Why to visit Fatehpur Sikri
Agra has the town of Fatehpur Sikri. In the year 1569, Emperor Akbar founded it. Construction takes 15 years to complete. It consists of temples and monuments, all of which have distinctive architectural designs.

- Mariam-Uz-Zamani later gave birth to Jehangir in the same village in 1569. Akbar constructed a religious complex to honour the Sheikh.
- Later, the area saw the construction of a planned walled city. Akbar's Gujarat campaign saw the completion of the city's construction. Akbar gave the city the name Fatehpur Sikri, which meaning City of Victory, as a way to commemorate the campaign's success.
