Why to visit Anguri Bag

Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan constructed it in 1637 as his lofty place of leisure and pleasure. The location is a good place to visit in Agra if you want to enjoy some peace and quiet while learning about the history of the Mughals who once governed the city. The Garden of Grapes is known for its thick creepers and is adorned with numerous magnificent gold paintings. The surrounding construction is made of magnificent white marble that was originally painted and plated in gold and decorated with wonderful murals. The main component consists of a semicircular hall with recesses and chambers surrounding it, as well as a large courtyard in the front with tanks, fountains, and hammams facing Anguri Bagh, a magnificent garden.

Special Tip

Throwing garbage is prohibited in the garden.
