History of Hyderabad

The city of pearls was being established in 1591 CE by Qutub Shahi which was built around Charminar. After the rule of Mughals an alliance was signed with the Britishers and this territory became Hyderabad state, one of the largest princely state of those times. After the Independence the power of the rulers got week because of Telangana Movement. By the time Indian Army annexed Hyderabad in 1948. The hard decision was being taken by Indian Government to divide the state on the basis of languages and became the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. But now Hyderabad is a capital of Telangana as in 2014 Telangana got separated from Andhra Pradesh.
