Why to visit Balboa Park
In San Diego, California, the United States, there is a 1,200-acre (4.9 km2) historic urban cultural park called Balboa Park. It has open space regions, natural vegetation zones, green belts, gardens, and walking trails in addition to the San Diego Zoo, a number of theatres, and museums. Within the park's limits, there are numerous restaurants, souvenir stores, and recreational amenities. The park's location is one of the first in the country to be set aside for public recreational use after being placed in reserve in 1835.
