Why to visit Skydiving in Nettuno, Rome
The dropzone is located in Nettuno, 65 kilometres from Rome's centre. When you arrive at the skydive facility, you'll be greeted by your instructors, who will go over correct jumping technique, safety procedures, and anything else you might want to know about skydiving. The briefing lasts roughly 15-20 minutes on average. An instructor-led training jump is for persons who have never attempted freefalling before and is useful for an eventual aff course.
After a theoretical instruction, you will be ready to jump with a licenced instructor right away. Then you'll suit up and board the Pilatus Porter PC-6 for a flight to an altitude of 4000 meters...not much to think about up there: just JUMP!
You will free-fall for one entire minute at 200km/h, taking in breathtaking vistas of the coast and Rome: what an adrenaline rush!
You'll gently float back to the dropzone after the parachute opens. You will have the opportunity to pilot the parachute before the soft landing. If not, your teacher will take care of everything, leaving you to focus just on enjoying this thrilling experience! You will get roughly 5 minutes of fantastic emotions under the canopy.
From ground training through landing, every stage of your leap will be captured on a DVD that you will get along with a participation certificate.
