Why to visit Arch Di Constantine

The monument is famous for its enormous size, which stands at 21 metres tall and 26 metres broad. It is made up of three arches: one large one in the centre and two smaller ones on either side of the larger one. The structure is built out of large chunks of marble that have been prized for their durability for generations. Several sculptures, as well as written texts, have been erected on the building's walls to honour the great Constantine I. This monument is one of the most visited and photographed in the city due to its location.

The Arch of Constantine is a large arch that connects the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill, two of Rome's most important attractions. It was constructed to commemorate Constantine I's victory against Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge in 312 AD. It is dedicated to Constantine, one of the greatest Roman emperors who won many battles and enlarged the Roman empire, and is regarded to be the largest Roman arch ever built.

The architecture of this arch stood in stark contrast to the prevailing architectural styles of the day. Several themes from other imperial structures from the 2nd century were incorporated, and this edifice is also one of the earliest to use a spoila construction style.
