Why to visit Surwal Lake
One of the nicest spots to explore in Ranthambhore is the enchanting azure waters of this lake. It's Surwal Lake, of course. This picturesque lake, just a few kilometres from Ranthambhore, is a well-known tourist destination that is said to improve mood. This place receives a lot of visitors and wildlife photographers.
Wintertime is when the lake shines because migratory birds come to its grounds and add to its beauty. Grey herons, Common Kingfishers, Oriental Magpie Robins, Common Babblers, Jungle Babblers, Egrets, Red Wattled Lapwingas, and Pelicans are just a few of the numerous birds that have been observed here.
Nature enthusiasts are the main visitors to the area, where they may take in the dawn and sunset as well as the chirping of birds. The lake is dry in April and May, therefore tourists should avoid going there during those times.
