Why to visit Cable Car to Savitri Mata Temple
Overlooking the beautiful and scenic lake, the ropeway gives a bird's eye view of the entire town. It takes you across the Ratnagiri Hills to it's summit and to the Savitri Mata Temple. It saves the pilgrims from the strenuous stiff climb of little more than 1100 steps and enables all pilgrims particularly old and disabled devotees to visit the Holy Temple in less than 6 minutes covering a distance of 720 Mtrs.
The Savitri Mata Temple, perched at a height on a hillside amidst lush flora, is one of Pushkar's jewels. The Ropeway and the temple itself provide breathtaking views, attracting both religious and non-religious visitors. It is close to the famed Brahma Temple and it is stated that a journey to Pushkar is incomplete without a visit to both the Brahma and Savitri Mata temples.
