Why to visit Kokol Hills

Kokol Hills is a lovely area to visit for a day. Kokol Hills, known for its breathtaking views, comes alive after dusk. This is a great setting for romantic souls, despite the fact that it is a tourist attraction. The Kiansom waterfall may be found in the Kokol Mountains, and paragliding is also available. Hundreds of chutes can be seen in the sky every day. Kokol Hill is noted for its natural habitat and is home to a large variety of birds. Bird watching is available to tourists.

You can also experience a climbing trail to the top provides a panoramic view, as well as tranquilly and a pleasurable experience with resorts, cafes, homestays, and a fantastic place for landscape photography. 

The Kokol Hill is roughly a 45-minute drive from the city centre of Kota Kinabalu. For about RM 60, you can hire a taxi to Crocker Range in Kampung Kokol and then up to the peak. Coming from Inanam, turn right at the first intersection after Menggatal town into Kokol Poring Poring Road to reach Kampung Kokol, where a meandering road leads uphill.
