Why to visit Gunung Mulu National Park

In the midst of its natural rainforest setting, the national park is home to several caves and mountains, making it the ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are also the physical obstacles of trekking and climbing through the caves for those searching for an adrenaline rush!

Despite the fact that the Gunung Mulu National Park encompasses an area of over 85,000 hectares, visitors can only see a portion of it because there is no other means of transportation accessible than walking and longboats. Furthermore, communication within the national park is extremely limited, ensuring that a visit to the area provides travellers with the most tranquil experience possible!

The Gunung Mulu National Park is a beautiful national park located in the Mulu World Heritage Area, named after Mount Mulu, Sarawak's second-highest peak. These rainforests took 60 million years to form, making them one of Southeast Asia's most prominent natural locations, and they've even been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
