Why to visit Chattar Manzil

The Umbrella Palace, erected by Nawab Ghazi Uddin Haider on the banks of the river Gomti, stands majestically. Chattar Manzil was formerly the residence of the Awadhi monarchs and their wives, and it is now a revered example of European and Nawabi architecture. The structure has an umbrella-shaped dome and is one of the most popular sites to visit in Lucknow. The structure is still operational and serves as a government office. Many tourists, on the other hand, come to see this architectural marvel.

Special Tip

It is not possible to access Chattar Manzil during weekends.
