For a seasoned hiker, the ascent is not difficult. The huge grassland takes over where the woodland comes to an end. To get to the top, hike for roughly 5 kilometres through semi-evergreen shola forests. Paithalmala is the result of several excellent decisions. To begin, you must select between two trekking paths. It is difficult to begin with Kappimala. The other, which starts with Pottenplave, is much easier and studded along with civilization.
This hike is especially attractive during the monsoon season, though you will have to contend with leeches.
