It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it's full of legends of battle between the Portuguese and the Dutch. When you visit the fort, you may gaze out over the sea, the natural harbour of Mopilla Bay, and Dharmadam Island.
Inside the fort, there are beautiful, well-maintained gardens. The aura of the whole location is very relaxing.
