Why to visit Khajrana Temple

Rani Ahilyabai Holkar built the Khajrana Ganesha Temple. This temple is one of the most well-known Hindu temples in India. On Wednesdays and Sundays, a large number of people visit this temple to pray. According to local belief, when devotees worship in this temple, all of their wishes are granted. The government has taken over the temple. The Bhatt family is in charge of the temple. It is believed that in order to protect the idol from Aurangzeb, the idol was hidden in a well. In 1735, Ahilyabai Holkar of the Maratha Empire's Holkar dynasty removed the idol from the well and a temple was established.

Special Tip

It is strictly maintained to keep your footwears outside the temple.
