Why to visit Chhappan Dukaan
Chappan dukan, which translates to 56 shops, is a collection of said number of establishments that run along both sides of 'Chappan Gali.' During the evening, people flock to the area in large numbers to sample the various delicacies available to them with their friends and family. The entire area seemed to reverberate with an energy that one does not normally encounter in the bustling streets of Dhaka. We naturally decided to explore the long stretch of street to figure out what we had gotten ourselves into.
