Why to visit Honolulu
Honolulu is the cosmopolitan capital city of Hawaii and is located in the southern part of the island of Oahu. Its name means "sheltered harbour" or "calm port." The city's terrain is well-planned, with urban buildings, commercial complexes, universities, and financial organisations, and the city's ethereal attractiveness comes from the tranquil waters of the sea.
Adventurers can walk to Diamond Head, swim with dolphins, snorkel at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, and participate in a variety of water activities at Waikiki Beach, including parasailing, snorkelling, scuba diving, jet-skiing, surfing, and sailing.
The Bishop Museum in Honolulu houses an incredible collection of Hawaiian and Pacific artefacts. The Honolulu Zoo, Iolani Palace, Foster Botanical Gardens, Walker Estate, Pearl Harbor, and Hawaii Theatre are among the other locations of importance worth seeing.
Honolulu has pleasant weather throughout the year, with average temperatures of 28 degrees Celsius. April to October is the dry season, and November to March is the wet season. The greatest time to visit Honolulu is from December to August, when the water activities are open and the weather is ideal.
