Why to visit Brusnika Russian Cafe and Bakery

The cafe's core aim is to serve only healthy organic cuisine made with local ingredients. Creamy cottage cheese, freshly baked breads, and delectable thin pancakes slathered with jam are also available. Their roasted chicken with baked potato is a must-try. The cafe also has a beautiful view of the Tashhichodzong and Ludrong Memorial Garden in Thimphu. While reading a book from their tiny library and sipping tea, one may take in the wonderful view of Thimphu Dzong.

Brusnika Russian Cafe and Bakery is located on the ground floor of a white double-story home in Langjophakha, opposite the Ludrong Memorial Garden. Natalia Wangdi, a Russian woman married to a Bhutanese, owns it. Natalia bakes and sells a variety of bread and pastries at her cosy cafe, Brusnika. Bread is the cafe's greatest selling, with four different varieties available. The cafe now serves lunch and dinner in addition to breads and pastries.

Special Tip

For the youngsters, there is a playground outside and a play zone inside the cafe, making it a pleasant spot to come as a family. The nicest place to hang out in Langjophakha is the Brusnika Russian cafe.
