Gurudwara In the Golden Temple complex at Amritsar is situated Baba Atal Rai. Baba Atal Rai, son of Guru Har Gobind Singh, built the historic shrine. In the life of Atal Rai at the age of 9, the 9-story octagonal tower is one year old. The building slowly began to become a Gurudwara, originally a samadhi of Baba Atal Rai. It's alongside the Kaulsar Sarovar the tallest tower in Amritsar. It's one of the most visited architectural landmarks of Punjab, with millions of pilgrims from around the world.
