Why to visit Bathinda Fort

Bathinda Fort, also known as Qila Mubarak, is said to have been built in the 12th century, making it one of India's oldest surviving forts. According to some accounts, the fort was built in the 2nd century AD by the legendary Kushana king, Kanishka! Its massive gates, flanked by bastion towers, still inspire awe. There is even a gurudwara here, built to commemorate Guru Gobind Singh's visit. Furthermore, the fort contains palaces as well as lush gardens where you can relax.

Special Tip
