Tirthan River is located in Tirthan Valley, which offers the best things to do in Kullu. The Tirthan River is an excellent location for trout fishing. 2. Kheerganga Trek


Kheerganga is a small settlement in Parvati Valley that is 3050 m above sea level. It is a two-day trek from Kullu or Barsheni and an 11-kilometer walk from Barsheni. The confluence of the Tosh and Parvati rivers can be viewed in Barsheni, making it one of the best adventurous activities in Kullu. Visitors can see sites such as Rudra-Nag, a serpent-shaped waterfall, Pandu Pul, and the Pin-Parvati Pass (5400 m) when walking from Barsheni. There is an ashram near the Shiva shrine that provides basic lodging.

The voyage starts in Manali and continues with stops in Lama Dugh, Riyali Thach, Devi ki Marhi, Dal Marhi, Marhi, Kalihani, Plachak, Rajgundha, and, of course, Bara Bhangal. The ancient pagoda-styled Prashar Rishi temple, built in honour of the Rishi Prashar, stands towering on the river's banks. Its architecture is unique and appealing.
