Lachung Temple is a holy site located in the Diksit settlement of the Nubra Valley. This temple is one of the oldest holy sites in the region, and it houses some of the most colourful and narrative paintings. It is dedicated to the Tibetan Buddhist teacher Je Tsongkhapa, and it also houses a massive statue of him. The temple's interior features elaborately carved portions depicting numerous stories about Buddhism and the culture's history.
