The Mob museum demonstrates the history of mob and organized crime through artifacts and items related to law enforcement’s role in controlling the Mob think weapons, wiretapping tools from both law enforcement and crime. 

History of The Mob Museum

  • The Mob Museum inaugurated in 2012 on February 14 which itself has significance in the crime world, on this day seven men from Bugs Moran gang were murdered by South Side gang of Mob boss Al Capone
  • It is well known that the founding fathers of Las Vegas are some of the nation’s most notorious names.
  • It also signifies that organized crime in the United States has been a dynamic business since Prohibition began in 1920.
  • The museum also worked with the FBI and three famous undercover agents who fought the Mob, including Joe Pistone, made famous by the movie "Donnie Brasco."

Things to do at The Mob Museum

  • Visit the historic courtroom, where Mob associates and Nevada’s then lieutenant governor testified in the hearings.
  • The gallery is full of artifacts such as the handcuffs in which Tony Spilotro was arrested in 1983, costumes from the Folies Bergere at the mob-controlled Tropicana, and more.
  • The Crime Lab section gives you insight from the perspective of a detective and official from which you can learn about crime scene investigation, fingerprint and DNA analysis, and ballistics.

  • For Nevada resident tickets $16.95 for general admission,  For $28.95, you can add a special experience, like the Firearm Training Simulator, the Crime Lab, or a Distillery tour and tasting ( for above 21 years old). 
  • A Premier Pass costs $35.95 by which you access the permanent exhibit. 
  • Non-residents/ Foreigners have to pay $29.95,  $48.95 for general admission and permanent exhibit respectively.
