For Hindus, Mahabaleshwara Temple is an important pilgrimage place, although it is not restricted to that. In Gokarna, people of various sects come to see this site. The temple is surrounded by hills and is located next to the Arabian Sea. The picturesque grandeur of this location leaves visitors speechless. According to one popular tradition, the temple's deity will shower tremendous rewards to believers.
Anna prasadam is given away for free, and it is given out twice a day. The hours for this are 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
