Why to visit Jhari Falls

Jhari waterfalls, one of Chikmagalur's most prominent tourist attractions, is also known as buttermilk falls due to its appearance. The falls are flanked by lush forest and coffee farms, making for a spectacular sight. A pool in the lower portion of this waterfall allows guests to get soaked! Water flowing over steep rocks from the mountains creates a wide and thin white sheet of beautiful cascade. Overall, the experience is a lot of fun and a terrific one-day picnic choice. It's near Mullayanagiri, Baba Budangiri, and Chikmagalur's Attigundi.

Special Tip

The greatest time to see Jhari Falls is from August to January, however September to December is when the falls are at their fullest.
