Why to visit Belur

The ancient city is located on the banks of the Yagachi River and is best known for its temple, Chennakesava, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the peaceful Chikmagalur attractions. In the same complex, there are two other temples called Kappe Chennigaraya and Ammanavara temple, both of which have the same level of architecture. The majority of tourists who visit Belur often extend their trip to Halebid, which is known as Belur's twin town and is only 18 kilometres away. This historic site is well-known for its intriguing history and legends, and it's a must-see for photographers.
