Why to visit Tribal Museum

The museum displays kitchenware, jewellery, hunting tools, and wedding images to give visitors a flavour of traditional tribal life. The museum, which is about 200 metres from the Araku bus station, is not historical, but it was built to educate people about the tribal way of life by displaying the lifestyles of roughly 19 tribes who live in the area. Local Mayur and Dhimsa dances are on display in one of the museum's sections, while tribal artworks grace the walls.

Special Tip

You can also unwind by cycling around the museum or boating in the surrounding pond.
