Why to visit Palais Garnier

The Palais Garnier, which houses the world-famous Paris Opera, is a wonderfully beautiful theatre constructed in 1875 and named for its architect Charles Garnier. Aside from operas and ballets, a tour of the Palais Garnier is also available. English tours are held at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. English tours are offered daily at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in July and August. Also, people under the age of 28 and above the age of 65, as well as the unemployed, can attend an opera performance for a reduced price.
