Why to visit Louis Vuitton Foundation

The Louis Vuitton Foundation was established with the goal of promoting art and culture, particularly contemporary art. Its goal is to sustain the LVMH group's patronage efforts, which began in 1990. The museum here hosts temporary exhibitions on a regular basis, which include multidisciplinary installations, commissioned works by artists, and loans from other private organisations. Among the important artists whose works are covered by the foundation are Janet Cardiff, George Bures Miller, Taryn Simon, Sarah Morris, and Adrian Villar Rojas.

The Louis Vuitton Foundation, founded in 2006, is a cultural centre and art museum run by the LVMH as a non-profit organisation to promote art, culture, and creativity. Frank Gehry created the museum's structure, which is located in Paris's 16th Arrondissement. The Louis Vuitton Foundation has served as a catalyst for digital design and construction innovation around the world, setting a new benchmark for the use of fabrication and advanced digital technology.

To get to the Louis Vuitton Foundation, take the Metro Line 1 train from the Paris airport and get out at Les Sablons station. The journey will take approximately 35 minutes, and a single ride will cost approximately 15 euros. Aeroport Roissy CDG T2 A/C/D also offers a direct bus service from the airport. The service runs every 30 minutes and is available every day. The cost of a ticket is estimated to be around 5 euros.

Special Tip

Book your tickets online to avoid the lines, unless you intend to visit the museum immediately upon arrival. The structure itself is a work of modern architecture. If you don't want to walk through the exhibits in detail, attempt to at least see the building and its interiors, which will take about 1 hour 15 minutes.
