Why to visit Lassere

One of the city's most popular eateries, with regulars such as Salvador Dal and Audrey Hepburn.

With its rows of white orchids and spotless tableware The upper-crust open décor roof which expose  starry heavens, the soothing ambience, the excellent luscious dishes and the service quality all define  the virtues of fine dining! Chef Jean-Louis Nomicos' cuisine pays homage to the restaurant's illustrious history.

Nicolas le Tirrand, who has trained with top three-Michelin-star chefs, has given ancient classics a fresh new touch by giving them the lightness that traditional French gastronomy frequently lacks. Le Tirrand has given lightness to weighty hallmark dishes like Lasserre's truffle macaroni on the menu. Also order classic delicacies like roast pigeon with seasonal vegetables or spiced duck with roasted figs in red wine sauce.

Special Tip

The heather-stewed grouse is a must-try, as is the crêpes suzette dessert, where the thin delicate pancakes are rustled up in front of visitors' tables for the whole mediaeval Lasserre experience.
