Why to visit Boating in Ooty Lake
As it spans for 2.75 kilometres, the lake creates a rough 'L' shape. Water from mountain streams produced the lake. It was primarily used for fishing and travelling. In 1824, an artificial lake was built when it shrank. It was taken over by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation in 1973, and tourists were allowed to visit.
On the lovely Ooty Lake, located in the Nilgiri Hills of Tamil Nadu, you may witness this yourself. The Boat House, which is adjacent to the lake and has a miniature amusement park, a garden, and a toy railroad, provides boating amenities. The lake is open for boating from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and there are paddle boats, row boats, and motor boats to choose from. The exercise is suitable for families and groups as well as couples. Take your time and enjoy a relaxing day on the lake, which is bordered by large forests of Eucalyptus trees and a railway line.
