Do’s and Don’ts while Trekking

Do’s

  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, as you will be sweating profusely and dehydration may result in mountain sickness.
  • Stretch before you begin the trek and cool down after you finish the trek for the day.
  • Step outside of your comfort zone and try to face and overcome all of your fears.
  • Be a responsible traveller, and wherever you go, try to have a positive impact on the locals and the environment.
  • In the forest, dress comfortably and camouflagedly.
  • Consume energy bars and dry fruits on a regular basis to maintain your energy levels.

Don’ts

  • At high altitudes, avoid wearing cotton clothing ( wear synthetic materials)
  • Make no loud noises while trekking.
  • We will most likely be trekking through nature, which is pure and clean; therefore, let us not pollute the environment or harm its natural habitats.
  • Don’t stray from the group.
  • Never feed wild animals.
  • Avoid wearing earphones or listening to loud music because you will be unaware if a tree falls, landslides occur, or an animal attempts to attack you.
  • Photographs should not be taken without the permission of locals.
  • Running and jerky movements are dangerous on a trek and should be avoided.
  • Avoid taking too many breaks.
