Kungri Monastery is a Nyingma Buddhist monastery in the Pin Valley of Lahul and Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, northern India.

How to reach?

The ever-beautiful Kungri Monastery is located in Himachal Pradesh's Pin Valley, about 10 kilometres from Attargo and three kilometres from Gulling. You can easily board a bus from kaza to reach here. 

The town of Attargo is approximately 12 kilometres from the Spiti sub-divisional district headquarter.

It is best to take the bus or a private taxi from Manali to Kaza because driving can be dangerous. There are few ATMs in Kaza, and they may run out of money. It is noted for its sword dance by the buzhens of Mud village on the right bank of the Pin River.
