Deras Dam is a minor water reservoir located approximately 25 kilometres from Bhubaneswar's main metropolis. Deras Dam is the principal source of irrigation in the surrounding districts and is regarded one of the key water reservoirs within Chandaka Dampara Elephant Sanctuary. Not only that, but Deras Dam also acts as a watering site for the Elephant Sanctuary's animals.
The dam, which is near Chandaka National Park, captivates visitors with its breathtaking views.
