A PEEK IN HISTORY
Vijayanagara Empire has been known for its royal and rich architecture and heritage. Mysore was a part of Vijayanagara dynasty until 1563 AD. In 1761 Hyder Ali began his reign and was succeeded by Tipu Sultan in 1781. He was one among many rulers who implemented modern administration and military training. He also fought Britishers valiantly and died in an anglo-mysore war. In British Raj Mysore was turned a princely state for Southern region.
