When the lights twinkling inside the palace are reflected on the shimmering water, driving along the lake's roadside is a magical experience. Hawa Mahal - Wind Palace Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh built the Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Place of Winds," in 1799. The Palace has 953 jharokhas, which are small windows decorated with intricate latticework. The Jharokhas were created to allow royal ladies to observe street festivals without being seen. The Hawa Mahal is closed at night, but The Palace of Winds, with its 953 small windows, provides ample opportunities to photograph the magnificent structure from outside.
