Why to visit Radha Raman Temple

This temple is a Hindu temple located in the city of Radha Raman. It's dedicated to Lord Krishna, who is known as Radha Raman, or Radha's Pleasure Giver. The temple is noted for housing the original Shaligram idol of Krishna, as well as Radharani, the self-manifested deity from Shaligram Shila who wears a magical grin. The samadhi of Gopal Bhatta, which is immediately next to Radha Raman's appearance spot, is also housed within the Radha Raman temple complex

The Radha Raman Temple is regarded to be one of the most important of the Thakur of Vrindavan's seven temples. It is particularly significant among Gaudiya Vaishnavism adherents. The temple was magnificently designed when it was built in 1542, but Shah Behari Lallji restored it in 1826. Another fascinating aspect about this temple is that, while being dedicated to and named for Radha, it does not contain a goddess of Radha Rani. To indicate Krishna's presence, simply a crown is kept next to her.
