It was supposed to have been erected as a centre of entertainment, business, and trade during the 14th century and used as a military stronghold throughout the British era. This is an architectural marvel with a reservoir, Golconda Darwaza, Dargah of Gareeb Saheeb, Tanisha Mahal, and several bits of history that are now in ruins, as well as an entrance gate called the Dargah Darwaja carved out of a single granite boulder, and other features such as a reservoir, Golconda Darwaza, Dargah of Gareeb Saheeb, Tanisha Maha While in the neighbourhood, don't forget to see the Kondapalli Fort.
