Why to visit Manmandir Ghat

Maharaja Mann Singh constructed Manmandir Ghat around the beginning of the 17th century. The Maharaja constructed a palace there, and Savai Jaisingh II constructed an observatory there in 1710. There is a stone balcony on the Ghat's northern side from which guests can enjoy stunning views of the Ganges River.

Highlights—

  • The ghat, which Maharaja Man Singh of Amber built in 1600, also has a palace with finely detailed window carvings.
  • There is a sizable stone device that was once employed to investigate the motion of celestial objects including the sun, moon, stars, and others.
  • Several significant temples, including the Gooladanta Vinayak, Rameshwara, and Someshwara temples, are located at the Man Mandir Ghat.
  • The Jantar Mantar is one of the observatory's biggest draws. A beautiful view is available from stone balconies in the Ghat's northern section.
