Banaras Hindu University, formerly Central Hindu College, is a prestigious educational institution and a well-liked tourist destination in Varanasi. The institution, which sprawls across a huge area of 1300 acres of land, was established in 1916 by Madan Mohan Malviya.

  • Shri Vishwanath Mandir: This temple is situated in the heart of the college. The temple is made up of seven various shrines that date back to the turn of the 20th century. The temple's construction took 30 years to complete.
  • Bharat Kala Bhavan: A renowned archaeological museum that houses statues, woodwork, and other antique artefacts. This museum has more than one lakh objects on display.
