Why to visit Nehru Garden
Nehru Garden is a beautiful oval-shaped island in Fateh Sagar Lake. The garden is named after Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister. It was opened to the public on November 14, 1967, to commemorate his birth anniversary. The park is 4.5 acres in size and features a lily pond, a flower garden, and fountains.
Things to do in Nehru Garden:
- One of the garden's biggest draws is a food court in the style of a boat, where guests can savor delectable meals while taking in the fresh lake air. Taking a boat from the main Fateh Sagar Road, which is situated just across from the entrance to Moti Magri, is the best way to reach there (Pearl Hill).
- Boats run every day at regular intervals, and the fare is reasonable. Photographers will love the Nehru Garden's vantage point of Moti Magri, Rani Road, and Fateh Sagar Lake.
