Why to visit Cloud Forest
A big waterfall greets guests as they enter the Cloud Forest, and visitors are welcomed to go through the forest and high up on the paths for spectacular views. Visitors are engulfed by clouds at the top of the dome as they stroll around the lofty pathways, giving new meaning to the phrase "walking on the clouds." Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the canopy and the 35-meter mountain from the path. The hidden floral treasures are a lovely feature of the forest. Nature lovers will enjoy learning about the flora that can be found in the forest.
The Cloud Forest Dome is a greenhouse-like structure in Gardens by the Bay that recreates the tropical montane environment found between 1500m and 3000m. The two strangely designed dome conservatories known as the 'Flower Dome' and the 'Cloud Forest', which provide guests a different kind of 'forest' experience, are among the most popular attractions in Gardens by the Bay. Both of the enormous domes are air-conditioned, providing a welcome respite from the Singapore heat.
The Bayfront MRT Station is the closest MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) station, accessible either the Circle Line or the Downtown Line. Take exit B and follow the subterranean linkway from here. Take the Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge into Gardens by the Bay after exiting. It is also recommended to take the East-West Line to Tanjong Pagar MRT Station (EW15) and then take a taxi to Gardens by the Bay.
