Why to visit Surya Sen Park
Surya Sen Park, at Mahakal Pally, Siliguri, is a lovely, well-designed park. Surya Sen Park is a great place for kids to have fun and be entertained while being environmentally conscious. There are well-kept gardens, lovely fountains, a small man-made lake with boating, a toy railway, and open play grounds with numerous rides and swings for the entertainment of children. In a nutshell, it has everything a park should have.
Surya Sen Park also includes an amphitheatre and a rock climbing wall. The park's theme is dedicated to the great liberation warrior Mastarda Surya Sen, and there is a statue of him in the centre of the park. When colourful lights are lit all over the park in the evenings, the ambiance changes dramatically. This isn't the end of the bundle.
