Why to visit Horse Riding at Shillong Peak
xShillong Peak, with an elevation of 1966 metres, provides one of the most magnificent views of the city. It is the highest point in Meghalaya. Climb to the top of the mountain on the back of a horse, and you'll be treated to spectacular views along the route, with tropical greenery and beautiful cliffs on both sides. You will feel as though you are a British Raj officer proudly riding a magnificent horse, and you will love every moment of it. The ride may be done from the town's centre to the summit.
