Why to visit Ram Jhula

This suspension bridge across the Ganga river, also known as the Shivananda Jhula, was reputedly used by Lord Rama to cross the river when it was only a hanging jute rope. The 450-foot suspension bridge known as Ram Jhula was constructed by the government in 1980 with assistance from the Sivananda Ashram Divine Life Association. It connects Muni ki Reti and Swarg Ashram.
