The Temple is situated in Uttarakhand's Theerthnagri Rishikesh. Lord Shiva is the centre of devotion at the Bhootnath Mandir; in the temple, the god is known as Shivaling. Ten bells are placed on each of the four corners of the Shivalingam. The most intriguing aspect of the temple is that each bell produces a distinct sound; none of them will blend with that of the others.
